On Ramp Course

On-Ramp Course

The on ramp course is 4 session progression 'mini course' focusing on the foundation movements of CrossFit.This will take a small amount of patience but you will benefit from knowing these movements.

The on ramp is 4 x 1 hour sessions over 2 weeks and also entitles you to train AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE 2 weeks after (1 Month Total).

The classes are fully coached and have small numbers in the classes to ensure focus on the client £40 for the 4 sessions.

The aim of the ON RAMP is to expose you to the 9 fundamental movements used in CrossFit and to work on your skill development. We will prepare you to enter the CrossFit classes knowing that you can confidently carry out the movement safely and efficiently.The 9 fundamental movements of CrossFit are:

1.    The Squat
2.    The Front Squat
3.    The Overhead Squat
4.    The Press
5.    The Push Press
6.    The Push Jerk
7.    The Sumo Deadlift High Pull
8.    The Deadlift
9.    The Medicine Ball Clean

What to bring to class?

A Good Attitude! 
It’s pretty much guaranteed that you’re going to run into some things that you just plain suck at. It’s also pretty much guaranteed that there will be at least one thing you’re pretty good at!


Leave your ego at home 
trust us, if you bring it along it’ll just get in the way.


Stretchy Bottoms! 
You’ll need to be able to get down into an air squat. Ideally, wear some pants that stretch so that your movement won’t be restricted, and especially so that you don’t accidentally split your pants right down the middle of the ass at the bottom of your squat (yep, it’s happened!) Shorts should be a bit stretchy too.
